LEGAL
In terms of
legal issues, these tends to be about who owns the rights to something, or
whether you are slandering (saying something about someone that is not true),
or sometimes it can be a legal issue of making sure your content is not
breaking the law (as in there is no suffering to animals depicted)
ETHICAL
Ethics are
more of a minefield and there are certain ethical considerations that we have
in the west that are important to understand. Ethics is about what society
views as right.

there a balance between male/female genders

are these stereotypical roles (eg
powerful and strong male, weak female
often dressed provocatively)
Is there
swearing, are there weapons?
Southpark is
controversial because a lot of people disapprove of its ethics. However, the
producers might argue that it is for a small cult audience who are adult enough
to know what is right and what is wrong.

The video
has a good gender balance there are one guy and two girls in the video, if
the music video was a movie it would pass the Bechdel test as we have more
than one female and they dong discuss guys.

Certification and scheduling:
The music video we are making features no adult features or themes there’s no swearing and the song also would be appropriate for young audiences. The video would fall into the U classification as we wont have any swearing, nudity or themes that children would want to imitate. These are the BBFC guidelines for the U classification taken from their website:

Scheduling
The video would be shown during the day as its suitable for all audiences and wouldn’t need to be shown after watershed or have a filter on it, this is because we want there to be a bigger chance for people to see the video so the more family friendly we make it the more people are likely to enjoy it and accept it. The video will be on YouTube and will not have an age restriction.

How did we set up equipment properly?
When we set up the equipment we made sure nothing was in the shot like the camera bag. when setting up the tripod we made sure the legs were locked into place so the tripod didn't collapse. we also checked what the shot looked like through the camera and change setting to what we needed as well as checking the camera had battery and a SD card in it.
Did we follow the script or storyboard?
We didn't follow the script or storyboard as there were problems we encountered such as some members of the group not being able to film and locations not being available when it came to filming. we couldn't get the footage we needed so we ended up changing the narrative.
Did we follow safe working practices?
When filming we made sure we had no objects or hazards obstructing the actors or the group, we followed the precautions stated on the risk assessments.
What was our production process?
Our production process started with the group choosing the song to use then we brainstormed ideas on what we were going to do for the video. The next thing we did was start writing the script then from the script we did the storyboard and shot list. Finally we did the recces and risk assessments then moved on to filming, once we had finished filming we edited our footage and re shot any footage that needed re-shooting.
What genre did we chose and what conventions did we use?
The song its self is actually classed under the rock genre but our video has a happier mood making it more like a pop video. the bright colours and urban locations are conventions of the pop genre that we thought about.
